Get Ready for Tantra

Get ready for TantraOnce my coach told me: “People ask me to teach them tantric sex. They want to use Tantra jet engine for the broken cart of their being. In order to get ready for Tantric sex, one has to improve their bodies, emotions and thoughts. Learn how to be a better partner!”

Let’s have a look where the overall disorder takes place.
In many spiritual traditions the human being is compared with a cart: horses are our emotions, coachman is our mind, the cart itself is the body. The cart should also have a master – the consciousness, free will, our higher self, which observes everything and tells the coachman where to go to. In order the being be healthy and harmonious, the cart should be solid and strong, the horses healthy, groomed and full and the coachman skilled and sober. The master should be awake and look after all of them. What is the common situation? The cart is suffering from bad habits and unhealthy lifestyle, the coachman is off balance riding horses hard and the horses got wild galloping or sick and week. And the master is in deep sleep. Where all these distortions come from? The centres we talked about before have ‘positive and negative modes’. Motive centre
Positive mode of the motive centre is the healthy habit of physical activity, training, ability to stand up easily and do something. For example, children can run, jump and play without getting tired. The positive mode of the motive centre is well developed if parents pay a great attention of the physical development of their child. Often the child picks up inactive lifestyle from his parents and as a result the negative mode of the motive centre is being developed.
Negative mode is physical laziness, inactivity and fear of physical exercise.

Emotional centre

Positive mode is all about strong positive emotions, helping us develop interacting harmoniously with the outer world: happiness, joy, inspiration, selflessness, tenderness, benevolence, compassion. For example, a little child is in a natural, unstipulated or unconditional state of joy and if his parents tend to form a non-positive reaction to the outer world the negative mode develops.
Negative mode of the emotional centre is insult, self sorry, envy, aggressiveness, anger, jealousy and many other negative emotions.

Intellectual centre

Positive mode is the ability of constructive and positive thinking, broad outlook, creativity, intellectual curiosity, striving for experiencing something new, ability to reflect and meditate on the essence of events and not to follow the common opinions. A mind of a child is initially like that, but due to surrounding a negative mode may develop.
Negative s is intellectual inactivity and laziness, pattern thinking, overly critical mind, grievance or dreaminess, habit of living in a phantom world.

Instinctive centre

Even the Instinctive centre has its positive and negative mode. It can respond to our bad habits, week thoughts and negative emotions with pain and indisposition.

The higher centres however do not have negative modes. What is most surprising the Sexual centre does not have a negative mode either. It responds either positively or neutrally, i.e. simply no reaction. If there is sexual interest, this means the Sexual centre responds positively, or not, it is simply in a sleeping mode. Negative reactions towards a person of the opposite sex come from either intellectual or emotional centre.

The Sexual centre is the King among the others. You will find more about it in our next articles.

Try and watch which modes of your centres are on and when. How often you are in the positive mode of intellectual, motive and emotional centres.
